aneess is a short-term rental management service operating in Hurghada, Egypt. When you make a booking through this website, your data is collected and processed by us for the purpose of fulfilling your reservation.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following personal data when you make a booking:
- Full name, email address, phone number
- Country of residence and preferred language
- Travel document copies (passport or marriage certificate) as required by Egyptian law
- WhatsApp consent preference and communication channel preference
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details)
- Special requests and stay details
3. How we use your data
- To process and manage your booking
- To communicate with you about your stay (confirmation, check-in details, updates)
- To comply with Egyptian legal requirements regarding guest identity verification
- To process payments via our payment provider (Stripe)
- To send you WhatsApp messages if you have given consent
4. Data sharing
We share your data only where necessary to fulfill your booking:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Beds24 — booking management and channel synchronisation
- Property owners — for properties managed on behalf of third-party owners
We do not sell your data to third parties.
5. Data retention
We retain booking records and associated personal data for up to 5 years following your stay, as required for accounting and legal compliance. Travel document copies are retained for the minimum period required by Egyptian law and then securely deleted.

You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw WhatsApp consent at any time by contacting us
